Zadar is a city in the center of Zadar County. It is well connected by traffic, and a special feature is the Zadar Airport in Zemunik. Archaeological sites date back to the Old Stone Age, which gives the spirit of the past that the city abounds in, an example is the rest of the Roman Forum and many remnants of the ancient past. Turbulent past and strong forces with exceptional efforts to preserve lasting cultural values in the city we can see fascinating works such as the chest of St. Simon from 1380.

Numerous writers come from the Zadar area and here we will mention some of the more resonant names such as the legendary Petar Zoranić and Brno Karnarutić, whose works should certainly not be skipped. Numerous artists, numerous cultural and entertainment events highlight the beautiful Zadar. But the special feature is given by the magnificent buildings of the past, such as the famous and world-famous Church of St. Donat, the Cathedral of St. Stošije and many others. Along them there are beautiful paths and the most famous street is the legendary Kalelarga.
